Underwriting a Loan
The file gets underwritten and your loan officer will typically receive a “Conditional Approval.” The underwriter will name items he or she wishes to see and review in order to approve your loan. Once these items have been submitted and reviewed, the underwriter issues a “Final Approval” for your loan. After this, the loan is sent to closing.
Provide any additional information to the underwriter to ensure the loan is cleared for Final Approval.
